An eternity later, Vriska finally finished filling out all her registration forms and let out a sigh of relief. That was exhausting. Who knew becoming a trainer required you to fill out so many useless details about yourself? She was pretty sure nobody could ever enjoy so much paperwork unless they had some sick fetish. Well, at least it was over with now, and she had a shiny new pokédex in her hand.
She walked outside the building, instantly noticing the rather large group of people and trolls that had been forming. She knew right away that these were her friends – could she even call them that? For the most part, she hated them and they hated her. Even so, she still cared about them – but didn’t go over to join them. She was still pretty bitter at John, and didn’t even want to talk to anyone who was near him. Besides, if she greeted the group as a whole, she’d be greeting John too, and was absolutely not going to be the first to say hi. Not a chance.
With a sigh she plopped down against the building, and started to stroke Spinneret (who’d been on her shoulders throughout the whole registration process- Vriska had decided early on that she would be trying the whole keeping-your-pokémon-out-of-their-pokéballs-as-much-as-possible method of training. She figured it led to closer relationships, and that led to better battles. Also, maybe she was a little lonely sometimes- not that she’d admit it). There wasn’t much else for her to do, so she hoped one of the group, hopefully John, would come greet her.
