Main Character (Kid) Application
Name: Rose Lalonde
Starter Pokémon: Lovecraft (Inkay) male Level 5, a gift from her mother for her 10th birthday. Moves: tackle, peck, constrict, and reflect. Ability: Contrary
Hometown: Nacrene City, Unova Region
Appearance: Rose is about 5’02” with pale skin. Her figure is slightly pudgy. Rose’s outfit is similar to her purple and black striped dress; her skirt is shorter, only knee length, she wears lavender and white shoes with black stockings. Her headband is black, with a little replica of her logo on the right side of it. She always wears black lipstick.
Biography: Rose was born into the study of pokemon, Her mother being quite the scientist at the Nacrene city museum. She was raised to question, look and find out answers. She read books constantly, especially tales of Darkrai and Giratina. She grew fascinated with these “villainous” pokemon: One a being that was said to be lord of all nightmares, the other king of a world distorted by its power. Growing fascinated by these two pokemon, she devoured books, searching for information on them. As she grew she began to notice strange things: she could sense things around her, people and pokemon. Not knowing exactly what it was she started trying to develop it, and is still learning new things about this. Eventually she exhausted the books in the museum, and turned to the internet; during this time she began making friends online, learning of different regions and the adventures people were planning. Soon she began to realize her studies could no longer continue in her hometown. Rose bid her mother adieu and left with her blessing. Bringing along her beloved inkay, she made her way to Castelia City and the port where she caught a ship to kanto. Landing in Vermillion City she began her journey.
Personality: Rose is very intelligent; knowing much about mythology and pokemon themselves. She also has a slight penchant for psychology, able to analyze a person easily; though she has sort of developed her gift to be able to sense certain things about a person or pokemon which helps her even more. She is very snarky when she wants to be and charmingly sarcastic. Rose is very slow to anger, but once she is angered, the person who had angered her better stay out of her way. She is very loyal to her friends and cares for them a lot, even though she has not met any of them face to face.
Goal: Rose’s Goal is to study the mysteries of the legendary pokemon, particularly Giratina, and Darkrai with the goal of determining if said pokemon are malicious or just misunderstood. While Darkrai and Giratina are her main focuses of study she also wishes to find out more about the other legendaries. She does plan to beat the gym leaders, though namely for the perk of all eight badges, after all it will take a lot of strength to fight legendaries if they do turn out to be aggressive or even malicious, still becoming champion isn’t her main goal.
