Hey guys! I thought it would be nice to make on official statement about gen 6 Pokemon and Fairy type, given all the fuss about them recently.
Generation 6 Pokemon will be banned until in-depth information about them becomes available on sites like Bulbapedia and Serebii and/or X/Y is released. We don't want to use Pokemon if we don't even know their movesets, do we?
Considering that we don't know much about Fairy types other than the fact that they're strong against Dragon, Fairy type moves and Pokemon will also be banned until we get more info. All Pokemon that become Fairy types in gen 6 will be treated as their original typing until then. For example, Marill is Water instead of Water/Fairy.
Rest assured that we will welcome Generation 6 with open arms when we're ready! In the mean time, feel free to put generation 6 Pokemon on your dream team or reference the Kalos region in-character.
