Appearance: Like your average troll, black hair, grey skin, orange eyes, pointy teeth and orange/yellow horns. However unlike most troll Karkat’s horn are small and nubby which he ‘FUCKING HATES’ and he has a unique blood mutation that makes his blood colour bright red which he is ashamed of and hides from everyone. Karkat slimly built and stands a little shorter then most trolls at 5’4”. Karkat also has large bags under his eyes from lack of sleep due to ‘sleeping problems’ in other words a computer screen.
As for adventuring outfit it is relatively similar to his normal outfit expect for a black hooded long coat with red trim, a large grey cancer sign on the back and small Knight of the Blood symbol on the left front pocket. Also a black canvas massager bag with a gray strap.
Biography: Born and raised in Snowpoint City by his crab lusus until it was killed in a router explosion (Karkat attempted to boast internet speeds through terrible hacking). After this Karkat spent most of his time trudging through the snow shouting at his laptop and defrosting LUMPSQUIRT from time to time. Tired of this he decided to head to Kanto but the ship sank after some clown issues on board and he was washed up on Cinnabar Island.
Personality: Karkat is usually grumpy and is prone to loud angry outbursts. People that don’t know him see him as rude, angry, grumpy etc etc basically a complete asshole. Though to be honest even some of his closest friends still think that. He dishes out a whole range of insults that mostly consisting of the word ‘fuck’. Despite flying completely off the handle at people he has very low tolerance to insult directed at him and will almost always go into a massive shouty outburst in retaliation. He also has little fear in saying want whatever the fuck he likes. Whole libraries of books could be filled out by his rants and probably burned due to the uncountable amount of vulgar language. All this is very off putting for most people which causes Karkat to drive a lot of people away.
However underneath all this ranting and raging Karkat deeply cares about his friends and worries about a lot. This is show a lot in the verbal abuse he hurls at people or the rude manner in which he addresses his friends, it involves a lot of what he actually is saying through the shouty rudeness. He find very difficult to admit his feeling outright and in the rare times he does it’s almost always with very close friends. A lot of his shouty outburst are a lot to do with that fact that despite his confident appearance he tends to put himself down a lot because of his blood colour, also he doesn’t want to appear weak to others, as he is not as bloodthirsty as most trolls. If anything Karkat is more human then a troll.
Karkat likes to think of himself as a born leader and likes to tell people constantly. Even though he very big headed when talking about leadership Karkat does have the ability to hold a group of people that would normally hate (possibly kill) each other together and make them grudgly follow his directions/plans (sometimes). However when not in charge or not getting his own way, Karkat will follow the rest of the group but will constantly bitch and moan about it.
Karkat main passion consist of romantic novels/films and rom-coms (both Earth and Alternian) and is happy to give romantic advice and listens to peoples romance troubles, despite having very little success in the field himself. He also has a slight hobby in hacking computers and writing memos.
Goal: Karkat want to become a powerful trainer so he can tackle anyone who challenges him. But his real dream in to become a Pokémon researcher to help understand and improve life for all Pokémon (though he wouldn’t tell anyone that).
