After that double battle and catching a wild Sentret, Mituna had a big need to get to a Pokemon Center and luckily for him he had stopped in front of the ever so popular city of Saffron City. He dragged himself into the center and up towards the front desk with the usual peppy female nurse with the overly courteous attitude.
"Good evening! You're out late. Welcome to our Pokémon Center. We can heal your Pokémon to perfect health. Shall we heal your Pokémon?"
Snorting, the trainer answered: "I donthSss know.. krks, CAN THHUU?" It was quite obvious that they obviously did and the woman did not seem all too phased by his response. Politely, she carried on with her usual dialogue she gave to just about any trainer who meant 'Yes.'
"Ok, may I see your Pokémon?"
Defeated, he gave in easily and gave him both of his current pokemon sealed in the two pokeballs. Picking up on the idea that this young troll wasn't going to be leaving anytime soon without any indication, the lady cleared her voice.
"It might be beneficial for you to know the process takes a little longer than you most likely expect."
Hearing these words, the Captor let out a (exaggerated) groan and moved himself over to the side to wait. Plopping himself down on one of the many yellow cushioned seats, he sat there impatiently. He opened his trollian client but to his misfortune there wasn't anyone of note to pester. Anyone he felt like he'd enjoy talking to anyway. Just his rotten luck.
Just recently having come to Vermillion City from Sinnoh, she had started north in an attempt to work her way towards the first gym. Of course, it would do her no good until Rema could at least use confusion, or she caught another pokemon. And that was not going to happen until she got some pokeballs. And what better place to start than Saffron? (She knew she could get them any city; she just wanted to get away from Vermillion.)
After quite a while's journey, she arrived in a city with sparkling bright buildings, and rather large ones at that. Unsure exactly where to go next, she decided to stop off first at the PokeCenter, and maybe ask some of the locals. Maybe even a more specific map than this useless one she held in her hands.
The door slid open silently, and a blast of air conditioned draft washed over her. Walking in and brushing down her now windswept hair, she took a look around for a friendly face. Most people were kind to trolls now, but she still would prefer talking to a troll stranger than to a human one. Seeing one wearing some form of a helmet, she went towards him and sat in the empty seat next to him. Or, one of them anyway. He had quite a birth of empty seats.
"Hello I Do Not Believe We Have Met" she said politely, giving him a smile of her fangs (of which two of them were prominent.) "My Name Is Kanaya Maryam And I Am Looking For Someone Who Knows This City Quite Well. Would That Be You"

Not noticing the other's entrance, he jumped at the voice close to him. He leaned back with his arms in front of him, twisting with each other to the point they interloped like a kid who decided to jam puzzle pieces together rather than put them out flat.
Registering her words, he blinked rapidly as if that were to help him comprehend it better (not that anyone would be able to actually notice it with his mess of hair with a helmet on top of that) and stayed in his awkward looking position for a few moments before he returned to a somewhat more casual, conversational sitting pose.
"Ka.. K-cck!- Kah- Nie- Yaaajth...... Meh-reeth-Umph," he echoed. Well, the closest to an echo he could even mutter. Kanaya Maryam, huh? The name somehow reminded him of something but he temporarily forgot. Perhaps it'd get through his thick skull soon. Sometime. A weird coincidence it was.
He beamed. "Yckkeah!! Thure I doo! I finx." This is assuming the games actually properly adapted the real world counterpart. Which, to his knowledge, did so far. So he was going to assume just that. It's not as if he only barely entered this town and this was his first time. Hah, what kind of ludicrous claim is that to say he's way too overconfident?
Obviously the inaccurate claim. Duh.
And by that, we totally mean the accurate theory. "Whath do yeh waaatha know, doulthfaphess?" he asked.

Doulthfaphess? She thought to herself. What an odd speech impediment. Though, due to its interestingness, it could be more than just his speech affected. Perhaps this one was not the best one to ask for assistance. She could only now hope that he indeed was able to show her around.
"I Suppose I Am Just Looking For Some Major Buildings Like A Mart And Maybe A Place To Stay For The Night" she said, looking through her side pouch. "I Do Not Have Any Gym Badges Yet But I Am Not Sure I Even Want To Go For Badges I Might Just Do Contests Or Breeding Or Something Similar"
Flicking an errant lock of hair out of her eyes, she touched her scarf and could not help but brag just a little bit. "After All I Am Much More Of A Designer But Will Battle When Necessary Though I Would Much Rather Work On Performance."
"Well, this plathsce iths preeeetty big ssso I'm preththy shore this veryth sentherd hass sssum plathte for you t' sthay on the upper levulf. Asthss for a mart, it's pretty farthphphphs from heeeere. I could taketh you thEREREEph. It'ss benear Silphfff coO. headkwquaaarthers whithchss isss prethy much in the center I sphinx? It'll probsabubly be eathsieeeer to shoth you."
About that Contest Hall, he knew jack shit about where it was. He wasn't a contest coordinator- He was a trainer. If she accepted this though, he'll probably be able to find it as well as show her some other places. Besides, it'll be a time-waster while his pokemon were getting healed and hey- This chick was sort of attractive. Depending on what kind of mood he was in during the day, though.
By this point, Kanaya had his speech impediment relatively figured out - that is, she was able to discern at least the nature of his talking. She couldn't help but smile; he reminded her of a small wriggler, or human child. It was adorable, but she knew better than to let her guard down of any troll.
"Well Staying Here Does Sound Rather Nice" she said, giving him a smile. "But I Thought That Silph Company Had Been Purchased Out By Crocker Corperation" Her lusi had always hissed at the commercials on the television with CrockerCorp, and that had left her to believe that it was less than trustworthy.
Standing, she smoothed out her red skirt and adjusted her teal satchel, giving him a tight little smile. "Are You Waiting For Anything Here Or Can We Go Now. Forgive Me For Being A Little Overeager"
Huh. So things had changed around here. Nevertheless, he'd stick with this facade. While he may have been stomped, there couldn't be much of anything else that was too different. Besides, this broad looked like she didn't know much about it either. Nothing like a few other condescending, know-it-all dickwads.
"I'm thures ith got shometfing good for a plafe here. I've vvbeen thinkin' of shthaying here buuuuut I got to keep movinth." He shrugged. "Probsathly but it's althwayssh Thilph to me. Same plathess, really. Got the same thiiit, anyway."
"Well...," he started, looking back at the nurse. "We CANTH wate for my pckkemonzzss to be done healiph, but we can go headth out." Surprisingly cordial Mituna is cordial and calm.
Okay... Kanaya was starting to get a little bit confused. Quite more than a little bit, but she figured it would not be amiss for her to follow him around. If nothing more than to make sure that he does not injure himself, as it seems it would be something he was rather prone to do.
"Where Should We Go" she asked, following him across the room, her small heels clicking across the opaque tile.
Hm, choices. This was a big city, after all. What struck out to him as a good place first? Then a jingle played, ringing in his ears.
"Mituna Captor, your Pokemon is ready. Mituna Captor, your Pokemon is ready."
At that, he jumped. He bent on his knees, and looked frantically between her and his healing pokemon before holding out a finger and a hand, the palm facing toward her but not upward. "EERMPHCK--, WAITH FOR ME JUTHSssT WAAN THECKOEnD," he instructed before scrambling off to the front desk, nearly slipping onto his face if not for his hands grabbing onto the table. He pushed himself up with much shakiness and after he got himself back... sort of, he spoke.
"Y-Yesthss?"
"Thank you for waiting. Your Pokémon are fully healed. We hope to see you again."
Nodding, he took the two pokeballs and stuffed them into his bag before walking back over to Kanaya with a grin reminiscent of the aforementioned wiggler or small human child. "Howthss quick can thooou run?" he asked, taking out his black and yellow skateboard and holding it up as a symbol for what he meant. He was hoping he could skate over there seeing as it'd be quicker, but he could slow down technically. Might be safer anyway.
When the tone rang, she tilted her head slightly and her eyes held a light of amusement. Then Mituna's hands were in front of his face, and he shouted something that sounded like 'wait here' and ran away. When he tripped, she cringed. This may test her maternal instincts a little bit more than she thought, and she wonders if she won't be the one watching him travel, rather than the other way around.
But when he started coming back, he had a smile as bright as a wiggler's, and she couldn't help but smile back. Then her smile faded when he held up his...what had she heard it called? Skateboard? Shaking her head and laughing a little bit, she raised an eyebrow and said,"Sorry But I Am Wearing Heels I Do Not Think It Would Be Prudent For Me To Rush."
Nodding, he kept his grin though it looked a bit softer as his excitement and energy was toned down. Lowering the radical four-wheeled device, he replied: "Naaah, itzhsss FINE. Wheel both kkgoco slwow! I sthsay we thould go tu sthsee CkkROCKker Kkorss firsths." He let his hand out as either a symbol to take his hand and he'd rush forward or to follow him as he started to slowly make his way towards the exit.
For now, she kept her hand to herself; she had grown up too wary of other trolls finding her love of the sun and humans strange. instead she just followed him outside into the blearing light.
She was a little apprehensive of going to the lair of Crocker, but she assumed if worst came to worst she could have Rema teleport them out of there. "So CrockerCorp" she said, hands folded behind her back, "What Exactly Do They Produce". Her word choice caught her by surprise; must have been some commercial lodged in the back of her mind.
