Main Character (Kid) Application
Name: Terezi "Rezi" Pyrope
Starter Pokémon: Species: Deino
Nickname: Spy Terrorfeet
Sex: Female
Level: 5
Moveset: Tackle, Dragon Rage, Focus Energy
Personality: Clingy, playful, sometimes sneaks a stick or two of Terezi's chalk, often jumps out of pokeball at random if inside it
Appearance: Smaller-than-usual Deino (think "runt of the litter") with a large scar on left shoulder blade from a hungry Braviary
Hometown: Opelucid City, Unova
Appearance: Terezi has an average build for a female with average strength for her caste. She's thin but sturdy and stands at about 5'2". She wears her trademark bright red pointy almond-shaped glasses, a low-cut teal t-shirt with red accents the same color as her glasses, a ruffly black shirt under the t-shirt, black jeans, a bright red backpack, and a necklace of the Libra symbol. In colder weather, she'll toss on a black Letterman-like jacket with a large teal Libra symbol embroidered on the back and a smaller identical one on the left breast. She often keeps her Deino outside of the Pokeball for the sake of companionship, but recalls it if required.
Biography:Terezi has lived in Opelucid City for as long as she can remember, or at least the outskirts of it. She lived in a small home surrounded by woods with the city itself only about half a mile away. Sometimes she would venture into Opelucid to listen to the mayor's stories about dragons. Before her accident, she would explore the surrounding area often, and became friends with a wild Audino (due to her lack of friends in the area and her lusus being silent as ever, since it hadn't hatched).
One day, around the age of four sweeps, she wandered too close to an angry Amoonguss and it let loose some stun spore, which mainly hit her eyes. The Audino heard her startled yelp and came to help, bringing her away and cleaning away as much of the stun spore as it could, but was unable to get the substance out of her eyes. Terezi never got the chance to thank it, however, because some time after it left, a trainer came along and caught it (at least she assumes that).
When she was six sweeps, she found a small group of Deino thundering near her home. They were running away from something and seemed to have been chased away from their home. She'd grabbed her cane and hurried out, listening closely for something other than the fleeing footfalls of the wild dragons. She heard wingbeats and the shrieking cry of a Braviary, followed by the sound of a screeching Deino. She ran toward where the sound was coming from and smacked the large feathery bird with the cane. It eventually let go of the Deino and Terezi brought it back to her home. She cleaned up the gash in its shoulder and nursed it back to health. After it healed, they became inseparable.
Recently, Terezi moved to Vermillion City to take on the Kanto region's gyms and hopes to meet her internet friends, having heard they were in the general area.
Personality: Terezi talks loud and fast, often seeming very excited. She's typically optimistic, cheered on by the idea that the law will always win, and if it looks like it will fail, she'll step in and attempt to swing things to the side of justice. If she finds someone being unlawful, she'll try to aggressively talk them into changing their ways, but if she's unsuccessful, she'll try to whack their legs with her cane and scurry away with her Deino at her side. Due to her past with the Amoonguss attack, she dislikes "mushroom" Pokemon and will go out of her way to avoid them completely. She tries not to show it when she becomes afraid of something and attempts to distract herself from the fear if the cause is present; however, when she and her Deino are alone again, she lets that fright run its course through her and hugs onto a Scalemate until it stops. Sometimes she sucks on a stick of red chalk in order to calm down as well.
Goal: Terezi's ultimate goal is to prove that a blind girl can be just as good a trainer as anyone, and therefore takes on a gym whenever she gets the chance, though the gyms are more of a side thing. She'd prefer to travel around and search for the friends she made online while challenging said gyms as a form of training. She has no plans as of yet to take on the League (whenever it is she gets all of her badges).
