Name: Kanaya Maryam
Starter Pokémon:♀ 5, relatively shy with lower self-confidence, especially about attacking. When idling, she tends to spin around, but normally trips over her ‘skirt’. Additionally, her ‘hair’ is longer than most Ralts.
Hometown: Born and raised in Hearthome City in Sinnoh, but recently boarded a ship and will be arriving in Vermilion quite soon.

She also has a ribbon around her straighter horn.

Biography: It’s always been just Kanaya and her Lusus (who, after spending so many years around humans, she called Mom). She spent a lot of time at the local Contest Area, marveling over the fashion Pokémon would wear. For years she had been longing for her own, but her lusus kept denying her request. (Mom knew if she got one, it would only be a matter of time until Kanaya left on her adventure). One day at the Contests, she was talking to one of the curators who she had become friendly with, and he offered her a pokeball. Inside was a baby Ralts, who’s hair was a bit longer than what was normal. She was unique, like Kanaya, and Kanaya fell in love instantly. Bringing the Ralts home, her mother saw it and smiled sadly, knowing it was time for her to leave.
Personality: From the moment she was born, Kanaya had a passion for fashion (for lack of better words.) Being that she was a troll surrounded by primarily people, she felt unique; this made her want to make clothing so other people could feel unique as well. She’s very goal oriented and always strives forward, though she could be called a bit of a control freak. She also likes having friends, and is usually caught in the middle of any squabbles; she is known as the mediator, but sometimes she needs to be careful. She has a bit of a blood lust, and isn’t shy about showing it. But if she is double crossed, or if someone does something particularly rude to her, she can hold a grudge for a long time, and it takes a lot if a person wants her back as a friend. Loves being organized, and HATES slobs and people who just don’t care. She does have a soft side for klutzs, as well as falling for all the wrong people. Bisexual, no preference at the moment, which doesn’t make it easier for her to stop liking people who get her in trouble. Rather formal, but can be very snarky and sarcastic to her friends. Likes to punctuate her sentences and speaks with a slight accent, though it can’t be discerned where it’s from. While she has no trouble being yelled at and is quite skilled at shooshpap, she has a secret fear of extremely loud noises, and of losing control.
Goal: Her mother had magazines and books with all discovered Pokemon in it, and she has her favorites, and she is looking forward to catching those. Above all, she wants to make friends and learn about different fashions and customs in all the regions, then bring them back home to take care of her mother. Her goal is to be a trainer when needed, but to focus mostly on contests and maybe even breeding. She does have a bit of a nack for coupling. More or less. [/blockquote][/color]
