Tavros let stuffy back inside of his Pokéball, shrinking the device down to original size and stuffing it into one of his shirt pockets. The teen sighed, slightly exasperated.
Even though he's used to the town itself, Tavros finds it to be -slightly- creepy. The Lavender town tower sort of gives him the creeps, because of the little tales that his friends would tell him when he was younger.
Tavros rolled along, arriving at the Pokemon center quicker than he thought. The blue sliding doors opened, and he went inside, strolling to the counter, feeling a bit confident that he will FINALLY go on an Adventure.
The young nurse at the counter smiled at him. Tavros pulled Stuffy out of his pocket and handed him to her.
"Hello there, young man! Finally going on your Journey it seems?" she asked him. Tavros nodded.
"Hehe... Yeah, I am..."
There wasn't really any conversation after that while Stuffy's Pokeball went through the checking/healing machine. Only a few awkward eye contact glances, but those were only temporary. The nurse cleared her throat.
"Your Cubone is all healed up. Have a nice day!"
"Uhh... you too, miss! Heh..."
'Wow. Way to end a conversation, Tavros.'
-O-o-O-o-O-
Finally, after setting up a PC box account and whatnot, the teen rolled out of the Pokemon center, which was just a half a mile away from Route 12, Tavros slowly but surely wheeled towards the Town line.
'This is...uhh... it.'

Good thing Tavros is wheeling slowly, because there is something in the middle of the Silence Bridge. A WILD GOLDEEN, to be exact.
The creature is in no position to attack, however. For one thing, this Goldeen is dignified and knows that a proper lady does not start fights.
Also, she is kind of washed up on the bridge right now, if you would believe it. She does not look very graceful, or very beautiful, and is frankly outraged at the fisherman who dared to cast her aside. What, a Goldeen wasn't good enough for him? She would have the gentleman know that Goldeen were water Pokémon royalty. He could have at least returned her to her watery home, but alas, she had been dumped in the middle of the bridge, completely unwanted.
She should probably be worried about suffocating to death out here, but that is frankly nothing compared to the shame, the indignity, the EMBARRASSMENT of being out of the water. Oh, if she absolutely had to die today, she would have at least liked it to be with elegance.

Tavros was thankful that he didn't run over the poor creature with his four wheeled device. That would suck. He looked down at the poor little fish with a look of horror on his face as he saw the old man with the fishing rod walking away, looking a bit proud of himself.
Once the man was out of sight, Tavros quickly pulled out a Pokéball out of his item sack. He really didn't want this -very pissed off looking- poor, innocent Pokemon to die this way.
The wild Goldeen that was currently gasping for breath looked up at the young trainer with a look of horror on her face. No way was this... freak... going to catch her.
"Shh... uh... please stop struggling! I...uh... am trying to help you!"
Once Tavros had said that, the Goldeen began to struggle even more. Tavros needed to do this quickly, before it died.
"Go... Pokeball?" Greeeat job.

Oh, hell no. This was what, a brown blood? This Goldeen may not be a troll, but she knows damn well how to recognise a lack of class when she sees it. And that stuttering! Such a lack of sophistication to his speech! Simply awful.
She tried a tail whip but alas, it was completely ineffective in stopping this peasant from throwing a ball at her. Not that being in a ball was going to stop her from struggling her utmost.
The Goldeen used what little strength she had and squirmed in the ball, causing it to rock heavily and… roll into the water! The princess burst out of the ball, once again in her element.
Of course, the sensible thing to do would be to swim away whilst she had the chance, but royalty does not run. It puts on a show, and a damn good one at that. She used water sport, the water surrounding her swishing upwards gracefully, and soaking the young troll.
If he wants to capture this Goldeen, he’s going to have to fight for her!

Augh!
That Goldeen got into the water and splashed him. Tavros furrowed his eyebrows at the fish, and gave it a look of confusion. Why was it looking at him like that? And why did it splash him when he just wanted to HELP the poor thing?
Seriously though, this Goldeen had a serious ego issue. Really, what the heck?
Tavros sighed. "...I guess I have to fight you then. Alright then, Stuffy, I guess it's, uh, time to come out now!" Tavros sighed, throwing Stuffy's Pokéball into the air.
Stuffy popped out, looking oh so proud of himself. As always. Overconfident Cubone is overconfident. Before Tavros could really say something, Cubone had already used Bone Club.
"Okay, use Bone Club then." Well that was a late response. Whatever, though.
Stuffy seemed to had taken that last move as a SECOND order, and used Bone Club once again.
Tavros took another Pokéball out of his pocket, and tossed it lightly at the Goldeen.

Goldeen gave the Cubone an haughty look, but was immediately hit on the head with its bone. Goodness, the nerve! That was positively no way to treat a lady. Stunned by the shock to her head she floated on the top of the water for a few moments, before that cheap-looking Pokeball was lobbed in her direction.
She was engulfed in an orange light, but she was having none of this! She wiggled inside it, trying desperately to get out. If she could only… no, it was no use. Frankly, she had precious little energy left, and her dainty head was too sore to keep butting against the ball walls this way.
…Fine. She’d travel with the peasantblood. A real lady concedes defeat.
First Pokémon caught! Female Goldeen, Level 5 Adamant nature
This proud princess can be a bit of a diva! She’s absolutely livid to have been captured by one so lowly, and it’ll take a while for her to warm up to Tavros!
