Gym Leader/Elite Four (Ancestor) Application
Name: The Disciple- Felisa Keluin
Position: Cerulean City Gym Leader
Type Speciality: Normal Type
Badge: Balance Badge
Appearance: The Disciple takes some time to make herself look nice, and though she will try to brush her hair it’s thick enough that brushes have broken off in it. It naturally has a slight curl to it. She’s about a medium height, around 5’6”, though her body is lean and thin due to her amounts of exercise. She has an hourglass figure, though she doesn’t have much of a chest. fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2011/229/9/a/homestuck____the_disciple_ii_by_megumis_chan-d46yrpb.jpg
Biography: Felisa grew up with her cat-like lusus in a cave on the side of Mt. Moon. She got along with the Pokemon that lived there, and grew fond of the creatures in general. She grew up there, and once she was old enough was quite eager to set off on her Pokemon journey.
Through her travels she met two troll that she grew close to; Merric (the Psiioniic) and Arosha (the Sufferer). Of the two, she grew especially close to Arosha, and might even harbor something of a crush on him. She grew to love him and his teachings, and she took it upon herself to record all of his demonstrations in book format.
After some time she wound up as Gym Leader of Cerulean City, and she enjoys her position very much (there's only Mt Moon between Cerulean and Pewter, after all. It's not far to Vermillion, either). It's easy to visit both of her friends, and does so often.
Personality: Felisa Keluin, better known by others as ‘The Disciple’, is a strong and determined female troll. She’s really hard-headed and never afraid to speak her own opinions, and makes sure her input is always included in any talk or debate (whether she'd been actively taking part or just listening from the side). Despite this, she’s kind and cheerful, almost unusually so for someone her age. She has a rather bubbly personality, and this trait seems to take root in several of her Pokemon as well. However, this doesn’t mean she doesn’t know how to get focused and serious. And when she is serious, boy is she serious. She can go from being perfectly calm one minute to snarling in your face or ready to attack if something sets her off enough.
The Disciple is one of the Sufferer’s most devoted and heartfelt followers, as she believes heavily in his ideals (and himself in general). She definitely agrees that blood color shouldn’t play as huge of a part in castes and discrimination as it does, and also favors living in a symbiotic state with the humans. She has written down and recorded all of his preaching (whether it be formal or informal) and keeps it safely tucked away for future use or reference.
Felisa enjoys the strong bonds that she shares with her Pokemon. If things are becoming to serious in a battle, she would gladly step in and try to help her teammates. She tries to be close with her friends too, though she may sometimes come on a little strong to them. However, she can usually pick up when it's discomforting to the others while doing this, and knows when to back off or tone it down a little. Any enemies of herself or her companions don't share this same benefit, and she will snap at them the moment she gets the chance.
Party:
Team for Cerulean Gym
Check the Zigzagoon
Level: 18
Moves: Headbutt, Oder Sleuth, Facade, Covet
Check is an energetic fellow, and loves to play. He and Coren get along well, though Boris is definitely not used to him yet. He’s probably Felisa’s most carefree Pokemon and also the least experienced, and she believes the gym battles will be good for him.
Boris the Teddiursa
Level: 15
Moves: Lick, Fake Tears, Fury Swipes, Faint Attack
Boris is one of the calmer members of Felisa’s team, though he is also the newest Pokemon she has captured. He’s a little distrusting at times (he still isn’t completely used to her yet), but will take orders when needed to.
Coren the Skitty
Level: 20
Moves: Sing, Fake Out, Double Slap, Copy Cat
Coren is the offspring of Colette, and due to his child status he is full of curiosity and excitement. His mother has to try very hard to keep him in line, usually requiring assistance from Felisa or her other Pokemon to accomplish this. He is really close with Mustello and Check, who are the primary members of the team who are able to keep him consistently entertained.
Primary Team
Estee the Eevee
Level: 68
Moves: Return, Wish, Last Resort, Trump Card
Estee was Felisa’s first Pokemon, and the two have developed a close and near inseparable bond. You never find one without the other. Though she isn’t evolved (the two have debated it for a while and haven’t decided anything), that doesn’t mean that she isn’t highly skilled. She can pack a real punch for a Pokemon of her size, and is the most experienced and hardened Pokemon on her team. She’s kind and patient, and a lot of Felisa reflects in her actions.
Vesper the Zangoose
Level: 57
Moves: Crush Claw, Detect, X-Scissor, Pursuit
Vesper has been on Felisa’s team for a while, and is probably the most prideful member of the team. He always puts 110% into everything he does, whether it be battling, training, or whatever else he’s told to do. He doesn’t care to interact with the others much, though this is to prevent his own weaknesses from showing. Deep down though, he’s really just a big softie.
Faye the Clefable
Level: 56
Moves: Metronome, Cosmic Power, Meteor Mash, Stored Power
Faye is an absolute sweetie, doing her best to be courteous and polite to those she interacts with. She’s very touchy feely, sometimes is a bit clingy, and enjoys hugs and kisses. All those on the team are used to her behavior, though strangers may find it a bit off-putting at first.
Uncia the Persian
Level: 55
Moves: Power Gem, Screech, Slash, Faint Attack
Uncia is a rather vain creature, rarely lifting a paw to help unless absolutely necessary, or it’s to her benefit. Don’t want to get that perfectly cleaned coat dirty, after all. However, if Felisa or another of her Pokemon are in danger, she can sacrifice her good looks for a bit to help out. Despite frontal appearances, she does care for them.
Mustello 'Mu' the Furret
Level: 54
Moves: Me First, Slam, Double Team, Hyper Voice
Mu is a quick little thing, constantly needing to keep himself in motion. He doesn't like to sit still, and this can sometimes cause problems. He's the newest addition to the team, though he fits right it with the others. He is especially close with Coren, and the two enjoy playing together when they can.
Colette the Delcatty
Level: 60
Moves: Retaliate, Assist, Heal Bell, Double-Edge
Colette was one of Disciple’s first Pokémon, next to Estee. She’s calm and cool, probably the most sensible out of all of her Pokémon. She has a little bit of trouble keeping her energetic offspring, Coren, under control, and often requires assistance. She's like the big mother hen on the team, not just for her son but for everyone else, too.
