Biography:
Being at the top of the hemospectrum, Cliona just knew she was meant for greatness. And she was. She grew up in Sootopolis, under the watchful eye of her lusus until she was old enough to start her journey. She started with her home region of Hoenn, battling her way to the Champion with her water pokemon and took over Hoenn with Team Aqua.
Soon after, she moved to the next region: Kanto. Johto would fall alongside it, if she had planned this all carefully enough. She battled her way through the gym leaders, and upon victory began plotting the domination of Kanto as its Queen. During this time, she formed Crockercorp from an early baking chain into a full-blown corporation while also establishing the new Team of the Region, Team Rocket, and in particular the Midnight Crew.
Crockercorp started as a small convenience store in Saffron City, shortly after Cliona ended her journey, before the PokeMart was built, and only grew to encompass breakthroughs in technology, like Pokeballs and later adding other convenient items like potions and TMs, along with heading research and development, making the "Crockerscope" to let a being be able to identify ghost or ghost pokemon for reasonable prices.
As for becoming Gym Leader, she made her home in Viridian City after she bought out the gym from the previous leader. She decked it out with pools and aquariums (similar to the Cerulean City gym in the anime) and filled it with her pokemon.
Personality: Cliona is, in one word, ruthless. She will not back down from a challenge, and will often revel in the damage her wonderful pets do to trainers. She has no sense of sympathy for anything or anyone, except for perhaps The Highblood, because of how loyal he is to her.
Perhaps the only other thing she truly cares for would be her pokemon. After all, they’re the ones that had helped her achieve greatness. When home, she will spend all her time with them in the pools.
She runs her gym with an iron fist, and all her hired hands mysteriously go missing within a few weeks of being hired to maintain the tanks. Pay’s really good though. Also, because most of the gym is filled with water, trainers are strongly encouraged to make sure they have the right pokemon to challenge her, seeing as she isn’t liable for anydeathsinjuries resulting from challenging the water-based gym.
