Photios, or Tio for short, is an adventurous little Litwick, who fits in with
Aradia quite well. Courageous and Brave the little Litwick often seems strong only to end
up being a bit of a hot head-
more than one occasion. Using his flames to light Aradia’s way when exploring is something
that makes him feel accomplished and often he gets jealous of other things/ people/
pokemon who try to take his job away from him.

Appearance:
Aradia is quite frequently easy to spot because of her mass of curly black hair that is
always loose to brush a little bit below the small of her back. Though she is an explorer and
often doesn’t care if she gets messy in her endeavors she is a pretty girl, more on the side of
tall, lengthy arms and legs, long fingers that work well with her archaeology explorations.
Standing at 5’6” she wasn’t particularly tall but not particularly short either. Her skin has
tanned over the years, giving her a light bronze glow that often hides some of the dirt she
may have gotten on her. Her eyes are often surrounded by a thin layer of Maroon eyeliner
as her lips are covered in a thin coat of Maroon lipstick. The only real accessory she tends
to wear is a silver chain necklace with a silver Aries Symbol for the Pendant, her messenger
bag is often considered as a tool, not an accessory.
When outside Aradia tends to keep her clothing simple yet easy to maneuver in, putting
on either a t-shirt or a tank top of gray or black, a long dark gray skirt that brushes about 2
inches below the middle of her calves with a pair of shorts underneath. She likes to wear
tennis shoes, mainly for the grip on the soles for climbing, and she normally wears white
ankle socks with red or Maroon rings along the top of them. When the weather tends to get
colder or the elevation is a bit too high she puts on a long sleeve jacket with the Aries
symbol embellished on the right chest and a longer skirt.
Biography:
Aradia was always an adventurous child; she often explored Pokemon Tower,
even when told not to. In her earlier years she would explore, get dirty, and try to find any
‘artifacts’ or ‘ruins’ she could all in the name of discovering the legendary pokemon that
everyone talked about. Aradia had to admit, she wasn’t really interested in the pokemon at
first, only the legends and the history behind them, but over time as she learn about
pokemon and their history in the world she began to grow fascinated with them. Finding
that the best way to try and explore the ruins and places she had found she would need a
pokemon to defend herself, and in doing so journeyed further up the tower, to where the
wild pokemon roamed.
While exploring she found a Litwick, fascinated by the light it gave off around it she set her
sights on catching it, not realizing the danger in following the little candlestick pokemon.
While wandering through the tower after the pokemon she hadn’t realized that she had
been noticed. Once she was a good way in a group of Haunters and Gastly had made
themselves present, being defenseless Aradia tried running, not sure she could take on all 5
of them. In the process of running she had fallen down the stairs, hitting her head quite
hard on the way down. That was her first near death experience, and with it came a change.
For a year she stayed away from the Tower, she would blog, she would read books, but she
wouldn’t leave her home unless she needed to.
It took some time, after reading all her books and seeing everything that had been online
she had realized she was just wasting her life. Who knew when she might have another
experience? Who’s to say that she’ll be able to do everything she wanted to before it
happened completely next time? And with that resolution she mustered her courage, she’d
live life to the fullest and not fear the near death experience she had. To prove to herself
that she was ready she returned to the tower, made it through to find the Litwick who
shined the brightest, and proved she could make it on her own, that she could be stronger,
and then caught the pokemon. After doing so she paid the Haunters and Gastly back for the
incident with the stairs- don’t worry, she knows about the stairs now.
Personality:
Aradia is a very active and energetic girl, full of life she often acts as if she’s
completely carefree, even though she is cautious of dangerous situations. Sometimes she
tends to get too excited about something and wanders off, her impatience getting the best
of her- she really hates not doing anything, she has to do everything before she dies. She is
quite passionate about learning the history of the Kanto region as well as studying on the
pokemon legends of the region, but that doesn’t occupy all of her interests. Though she’s in
it for the knowledge Aradia has a passion to get stronger to live through anything and so
she decided to take on the pokemon league while studying.
Though she doesn’t have too many friends she is kind to them and often tries not to start
fights unless she has a reason or they start them first. She’s quite protective of others,
thinking that everyone needs to have a chance to live even if they committed some sort of
crime. When talking about death she normally jokes about it and writes it off. Her fear of
death still lingers somewhere inside of her from the incident. Along with her Litwick
though, she’s brave, courageous, optimistic, and fun.
Goal:
At first her Goal was to learn everything there was to know in Kanto about the history of
the area and the pokemon that reside in it before moving onto a new region. Now her goal
is that as well as to grow stronger by challenging the pokemon league, to prove that she has
the right to live. She doesn’t plan on winning but knows it would be a nice confidence boost
to keep her going through her exploration. Her final goal is to be able to become a
renowned archaeologist and pokemon history expert, to become as famous as Professor
Oak and the Elite Four with her knowledge.
