Main Character (Kid) Application
 | {click image for alternates.} Your name is Jake English. You hail from a small series of islands known as the Sevii archipelago. More specifically, you're from a little known place off the coast of Quest Island... or, as you like to call it, Hellmurder Island. You have a reasonable enough goal of becoming a Pokemon Ranger. You're not right mindful of all the details that would entail quite yet, but from what television has told you, it involves being out of doors with Pokemon and not looking at explosions. That sounds just capital, if you do say so yourself! You're quite sure your Squirtle companion, Beretta, would agree! If you'd be allowed to speak candidly, you'd think you're already physically fit for the position, at least. At fourteen, you're already about five-oh-six, which if the internet is to be trusted, is quite the feat! Not to mention you're... well, you eat your gourd just fine, and you might be a little bony, but you're healthy, blast it! You'll be plenty muscular someday. Then you're sure they'll be at your bloody door begging you to join them. They can forget it though! You'll be long gone by the time they think of it. Virgin temples await to be deflowered, if you'll pardon the crude metaphor! |
| On that note... There isn't quite much to say really. You lived alone with your grandmother on Hellmurder Island for the better portion of your years while she studied the local fauna. Aside form your cousin, Jade (who lived with a grandfather you might've liked to meet) you didn't know or remember of any family otherwise, let alone your parents... But you didn't mind too much. Little point in mourning something you never knew to begin with! Besides, Grandma was an awesome woman indeed- must have tried every hobby anybody had ever thought to have- not to mention, her team was disgustingly strong, too. Even if you only saw them fight in a few skirmishes with the wild beasts, but that was enough to give you an appreciation for how positively *bully* they are. You were never sure how on she was in years, but she taught you everything you know about Pokemon. Her collection of firearms was nothing to sneeze at either. Bloody good thing she taught you how to fend for yourself, too- she kicked the bucket about the time you turned eight. Luckily for you, her Pokemon didn't- they picked up where she left off. Taught you to fight. You might not be able to sling the elements into someone's face anytime soon, but you fancy yourself quite the force in a round of fisticuffs. You used to wrestle with her Tropius often before you left. Alas, you have yet to claim victory over the beast, but perhaps travel will strengthen you. Then the student will become the master just so! You're not completely about the outdoors, however. For all its ruins and puzzles and challenges, however, it's all so humdrum when faced against your films. You do love your films- tales of epic adventures and quests for sacred artifacts and treasures, perhaps with a few skulls for seasoning and a lovely cerulean lady for good measure, takes away your attentions like nothing else. You'd recommend any hundred of your favorites at the drop of a hat! ...Unfortunately, nobody is ever around to ask... but you have your compatriots on the internet, some who share your enjoyment! You have specific lists catered to their tastes for the fateful day that you might meet. That shall certainly be a day worthy of the history books! At present, however, you'd really just rather get underway. You had to hitch a ride on one of your grandmother's Pokemon a short way, and to leave them had stirred a longing that had made you wish they could accompany you... but now, the boat cannot come fast enough! |
