Janavi: Be the inspector
Inspection day had come, and the Highblood had chosen exactly who to visit first. It wasn't the mutant, though he certainly deserved a good visiting, considering the things he'd been hearing. No, in fact, the Highblood had chosen to visit one of the most unlikely of trolls. Given his high place on the spectrum and the fact that he seemed one of the best behaved, one would not expect Darkleer to be at the top of the Highblood (or, as his given name would suggest, Janavi)'s list.
But that was the idea of it. No one expected it, and if the visit was unexpected, he was more likely to find things that were out of regulation. Not that he was looking for anything, oh no, messiahs forbid. He just wanted to be damn sure that nothing got past him. It kept people on their toes and that was a thing Janavi quite liked. Roles of authority suited him well, though he often forgot the exact dynamics of who was in charge of who.
There was one case in which he'd never forget, however, and that was her Imperious Condescension. After all, she was at the top of the spectrum, the empress of Kanto. Of course he'd follow her whims.
Regardless, the tall male stood outside of the unfinished gym, examining it with a look of complete scrutiny on his face. He wasn't sure what he thought of it. On one hand, nothing seemed too out of place from where he stood, and besides that he couldn't exactly blame Darkleer for having an unfinished gym. On the other, he couldn't say he approved of the gym being open during said construction, nor could he say he'd approve of it being closed. After all, it was a season in which quite a few youngsters would be starting their journeys, and it just wouldn't sit right if they had to deal with a closed gym.
Still unsure, he decided that it was best left to what was on the inside to decide his opinion. Of course, it wouldn't matter that much. He didn't have the authority to close gyms. But he could give the lecture of a century, chewing out the gym's leader so hard that they would be nigh unrecogniseable as people once he was done, and nobody wanted that.
Janavi: Enter
The Highblood proceeded to do just that, knocking faintly on the door before letting himself in. He stood there, scrutinising the inside walls just as hard as he had the outside ones, awaiting the arrival of the one in charge of this establishment, with a glare that could freeze a lava floe. This was not a cheerful man.
((calling him Kurloz would get confusing, so im using my original headcanon name.))
