Hello there, welcome to the world of Pokémon! The world is a dangerous one inhabited by fearsome creatures, with injury and death being a risk that young trainers, human or troll, are constantly exposed to, but it is also a world full of adventure and fun!
But the peaceful region has a storm incoming. Her Imperious Condescension, the Queen of Hoenn and leader of Team Aqua has plans for Kanto. The foundations for her takeover have already been laid; she has become leader of Viridian Gym, built up the Crockercorp organisation that dominates the economy, and is the secret mastermind behind the operations of Team Rocket. Whether her invasion can be stopped has yet to be seen.
Despite this, there is some hope. Kanto, and it's neighbor Jhoto are peaceful, yet powerful lands. Troll, human and carapace cultures are steadily becoming more and more integrated. The teachings of the champion Signless have a large following. There are many powerful trainers with strong hearts.
On the 13th of April, eight human kids and twenty four trolls, all aged 14, set out on their first Pokémon adventure. The youngsters are friends on internet, who keep in touch via online chat, but for many of them this is their first meeting. The thirty two each start their own adventures from their respective hometowns. Some are out to become Champions, some to become master Coordinators. Some are simply out looking for adventure.
Will the kids become involved in the issues surrounding their world? Only time will tell.
