Hello new diary! It is great to meet you and to write in you for the first time!!

I had some interesting things to tell you about my day today...

I REMEMBER NOW!
March 8th (later that day)

I remembered what I was going to tell you, diary!

Today some men in suits came and took my Drifloon and Voltorb away. Their names are Puff and Shrapnel! They are pretty much the best two round Pokémon a guy could have. I am so happy to have them.

But then I did not have them anymore!!

So I followed those men and went into their company building (it looks very nice!) and asked the lady if they were done borrowing my Pokémon yet.

It is hard to remember what happened after that... They took me to this other room and talked among themselves, and asked me a few questions...

And then they said I could have my Pokémon back if I did some "jobs" for them.

I am hired, diary! I am HIRED! I have a job!!

A hard day's work!
March 9th

Working for these Rocket guys is kinda fun! They have me teamed up with three other guys like me. Apparently I am one of them now! The Midnight Crew!

They are telling me the ropes. I mean showing. No, I guess it really is more like telling.

There are going to be many interesting jobs coming up. I will try to keep you posted, if I do not forget!

Licorice!
March 11th

Today the Crew and I did a little "plundering"!

It was my job to get into the building and to help take all the little Pokéballs.

I love explosives almost as much as Shrapnel does, so we got into the building no problem!

There were a couple Pokémon the boss said were no good. He gave me one of them!! He is a Dieno. He is so great. I am going to name him Licorice.

Licorice is also so great.
The candy, I mean.
Both of them are great.

March 12th

I cannot believe I have three Pokémon already. Do you even have any idea how swell this is.

I introduced Licorice to Puff and Shrapnel. I think Puff likes him. It is hard to tell.

Shrapnel blew Licorice up.

The other guys caught me writing in you, diary. They think that writing in a diary is for sissies! Did you hear them?

I do not want you to believe such talk. I like writing my thoughts down so that they do not completely disappear before I forget them.

You are a lovely diary and I will not let them take you away from me.

Electrode!
March 17th

I got a really big assignment today and I was not allowed to mess it up. At all.

Boss said there was this radio tower that has got to go.
I set up a bunch of explosives on the tower's legs, and hooked Shrapnel up to them. He exploded and set off a chain reaction, and the tower came down!

When the dust cleared, I found my Voltorb had been replaced by an Electrode! Someone pulled the old switcheroo on me!!

P.S. Okay Droog tells me that it is actually still the same Shrapnel, he just evolved.

How exciting! He is a lot bigger now (bigger than me!), and he smiles a lot. I think he is happier.

I am happier too.

P.P.S. The tower fell on boss's car.
