Starter Pokémon:
Xinli the Eevee, which she had received from a friend in the big city of Castelia. She hopes to evolve her Eevee into an Espeon for multiple reasons, one being that she believes psychic pokemon are very cool, let alone she believes that her own mind tricks would be benefited by a potentially able pokemon. She finds her Eevee, even though it was timid, to be the best pokemon- well second to a Joltik, she'd love to have one of those.

Castelia City, though she hung out often in Pinwheel forest
Appearance:
Aranea was considered a very classy girl when living back home in Castelia City. She often wore her silky black hair down, allowing the thick locks to brush her shoulders and shoulder blades. She normally wore dresses until at least she went to Pinwheel forest, a dress in the forest with wild pokemon was hardly a good idea. After traveling to the Kanto region- Viridian City in specific- she decided it would be best to wear something a bit more becoming of a traveler. She dressed in a cerulean long sleeve blue shirt with a black vest with extra pockets, to carry her important healing items for those special times.
She normally has her vest unzipped a little bit to reveal a silver chain necklace with the scorpio sign attached to it. When moving down below her waist she has a cerulean plaid pleated skirt that went down to the middle of her thighs with tight black shorts hidden underneath, white socks extending up to her knees with her bright red tennis shoes throwing off the ensemble. On her face sat some white classy shades, though her vision was fine she liked wearing them, they gave her a more sophisticated look.
Biography:
Aranea grew up alone most of the time and it took quite awhile for her to get her first friend. Even though she was caring and very talkative not many people her age wanted anything to do with her due to her 'mental abilities'. No one believed her when she said she felt something different around each person, as if she had some way of telling if they were good or bad, and this led to her not having many friends. Even though it hindered her she never forgot about the feelings, just thinking she was just sensitive or something and most of the time passed it off as being paranoid. After quite some time she was able to gain a friend who believed her in being able to sense things when even her friend couldn't.
She and her friend normally hung out in Pinwheel Forest, making a fort to hide from the other kids, some at which bullied the two of them because Aranea was 'weird'. Later on her best friend moved away to the Kanto region, leaving her with a Eevee to remember her by. They often exchanged letters, speaking about the pokemon contests that were held in each region as Aranea tried hard to keep track of what was going on everywhere. When her friend had sent her a letter saying she was going to be trying to become a coordinator Aranea was intrigued and thought she would try as well as she packed her things and headed to Kanto, hoping to meet up with her friend in Viridian City.
Personality:
Aranea is a very talkative person, though very caring. She tends to ramble on about things, when she knows the particular subject, and then often apologizes for rambling when she finally realizes she has done so. Even when Aranea doesn't know the person- even if they seem to be a bit mean or have done something bad- she still cares for their well being, using what first aid training she's had to her advantage when it comes to others and pokemon. She often seems sophisticated more so than others, being raised in the big city of lights didn't help, and sometimes she seems to have a bit of a bigger ego when it comes to talking about things involving the big city.
Her hobbies usually consist of reading, which she finds to be most invigorating. She also likes to go sightseeing, finding new places fascinating. One thing she absolutely loves to do is take picnics in a forest surrounded by pokemon- especially bug pokemon- and then she thinks back and wonders why her friend got her an Eevee of all things. She shrugs the thought of though when she thinks about the Espeon it can become. Once Aranea begins to open up to someone and becomes friends with them she tends to stick to them like glue, using them as a way to attach herself to the real world, sometimes she even has a hard time keeping her normal speech up and says something more along the lines of her friends. When she does so she gets embarrassed and before you know it she happens to do so once more.
Her likes and dislikes are simple. She likes Bug pokemon and Psychic pokemon, she loves forest areas and feels at ease in them. She likes to talk, it’s a big thing for her, and when she gets a chance she does so. She dislikes the water, she always had trouble crossing the bridges around Castelia till she realized they wouldn’t collapse beneath her (Which took quite a few years for her to realize). She also doesn’t like fire as it’s very destructive, because of the fear of the fires destructive power she has an immense fear of Charmander and Cyndaquil’s evolution chains as well as Ponyta, Rapidash, and Moltres.
Goal:
Aranea's main goal was to find her friend of many years and go on a pokemon journey with her. She was excited to be coordinators with her and to maybe make it all the way- it was the first time she was going to allow herself to give into her competitive impulses. When she arrived in Viridian City her friend was nowhere to be found so she believed she had given in and started without her, now Aranea is trying to catch up with her friend and hopefully learn more about pokemon throughout her exploration of the Kanto region maybe winning a few ribbons- that is of course if she finds anyone to help teach her how to even catch pokemon.[/blockquote]
