Gender: Male
Type: Ground, Level: 5
Moves: Headbutt | Growl | Bone Club | -Move- |
Nature: Hasty, Bold, ‘Somewhat Vain’. Cubone, unlike its trainer, is a little too outgoing for Tavros’ sake. Cubone seems to be the one to make the decisions, like who he wants to battle, and why. Sometimes he will lash out, and attack a random Pokemon for doing the smallest of things.
Although pushy and self centered, Cubone cares a lot for his trainer, and is very loyal.
Hometown: He was raised in Lavender Town, which is in the Kanto Region.
Appearance: Tavros is five feet, eight inches tall, which means he’s tall for his age. It isn’t too noticeable due to the fact that he is a paraplegic, which means that he is paralyzed from the waist down, so mostly everyone looks downwards to give eye contact.
Even though it’s hard enough to get around, his large horns that protrude out of each side of his head kind of block his way. Since this happens, it makes things more irritating He has the biggest horns out of all the other kids he knows, so he can be quite self conscious about them.
Tavros has black hair that is kept in a somewhat messy mow hawk. His face is very young looking, and his eyes usually show a lot of emotion. He usually has a small crooked grin on his face most of the time, showing that he is a fairly content kid.
Even though Tavros is a little tall for his age, his body is very slender and thin. Although he is well aware of these facts, when people make remarks about it, he would just say that he is ‘slightly flimsy’, and that he’ll grow out of it.
His adventure outfit consists of a loosely fitted black t-shirt, and it has a large Taurus symbol on the front, in light brown coloring. He also wears long black cargo pants and black sneakers, and has a small sack/pouch that he keeps some necessities in.
Biography: Tavros has been living a quiet life, with a few of his friends that he hangs around with. His best friends are Aradia and Gamzee, Gamzee being a new addition to his friendship, considering that he drifts in and out of his town. Aradia has been there all of his life.
When Tavros was a child, at 5 and a half sweeps, he fell out one of the windows in his hive that led to his backyard that had a fifteen foot drop. When he fell broke both his legs and shattered his pelvis, causing his lower spinal cords to become severed and useless. Because the injuries were so serious, he had become paralyzed from the waist down, due to the severed nerves in his lower spine.
So since this happened, for a while, he felt pretty useless. His lusus wouldn’t exactly allow him do much at all until he almost pleaded to start his Pokemon journey. Once Tinkerbull finally let him go on his own after much mild controversy, he was finally able to free himself and do whatever he wanted, whenever.
Personality: Tavros is a friendly young teenager, and tends to do what people say, whenever people say it. He is easily manipulated, but he does wish he could make his own decisions, but sometimes he believes that it is impossible, because he is put under pressure easily.
Although friendly, Tavros has pretty terrible self esteem issues since when he’s on his computer, some certain people terrorize and tease him (*cough*Vriska*cough*). He does act fairly strong on the outside, even though he can be fairly insecure on the inside. He mostly feels uncomfortable about his large horns, his disability, and how he can’t stand up for himself when taking all of the insults that Vriska gives him on the computer.
Tavros is actually very good with Pokemon, and seems to be able to communicate with them and relate to them. That’s how he got through to his selfish, and slightly arrogant Cubone, and befriended it. It’s because he can connect with wild Pokemon to make them trust him.
I know this may have made him look like a cowardly weakling with deathly low self esteem... but that isn’t true. He is stronger than most people, from the fact that he is
Goal: Tavros’ goal is to become even better at communicating with Pokemon, so he can understand them more. He also wants to just have fun without having his disability getting in the way.
