Main Character (Kid) Application
Name: Dave Strider
Starter Pokémon: Seppukrow the Murkrow, male. Caught on the roof of Dave's apartment building after it nearly mowing Dave over trying to get his katana from his hands.
Hometown: Jubilife City
Appearance: Dave is an albino, and god forbid he ever truly spent any good amount of time outside. He stands at about 5’ 9” and is quite thin. Most of his weight is muscle from strifing with his pokemon. He refuses to take off his sunglasses, no matter the circumstances, because his eyes are light sensitive. He'll also wear a long sleeved shirt, even in the dead heat of summer, to avoid getting a sunburn, which happens easily with him because he's so pale.
Biography: Dave grew up in his apartment in Jubilife City, with his ever absent father. From the age he'd been able to begin to take care of himself, his father always seemed to be absent, which didn't bother Dave too much. He grew up more or less by himself, learning through failure or just by checking things on his computer. He developed a taste for attempting to DJ and photography. Dave grew up with Murkrow constantly sitting on the roof of his apartment, one flying into a window on more than one occasion. He eventually caught one after it tried to steal a shitty sword from his hands.
Dave has a half-brother who has the same father: Dirk Strider. Dave doesn't know about his relative.
Personality: Dave attempts to keep up a cool kid persona, which seems to be easier said than done. He seems like a stuck up 'cool kid' over the internet, but Dave isn't all he says he is. He isn't very good at keeping a poker face, and is easy to spur into ranting. Whether online or not, Dave will go on about the subject until he has completely derailed himself and gone on about four other things, not stopping until he doesn't know what else to say. It doesn't take a whole lot to get some other emotion besides stagnant from Dave, seeing how over emotional he is. He can deal with people on the computer fairly well, but with his lack of human contact growing up, Dave can turn into a flustered mess being around other people.
Goal: Dave decided to become a trainer partially for the bragging rights of beating the Elite Four, if it ever happens. He also wants to catch as many bird and fire types as he can, which he seems to have a slight fixation with.
