I'm here wondering if you all are interested in a Pathfinder campaign over some kind of video chat? I can DM, I have the books on my laptop and I can help with character creation and stuff.
This would need 3-6 people to work. It's super duper fun, and I really encourage you all to join in on the fun. <333
Did this idea fizzle? I don't know why a Google search shows up nobody else trying to set up table-top RPG games over video-chat. It is amazing difficult to get a quorum for a table-top RPG game because you need many like-minded people within convenient travelable distance who all happen to be available for the same exact multiple-hour stretch.
Seems to me that the Internet and free video chats systems like Google video chat or Skype greatly broaden the potential pool of players to the point that one should be able to get a quorum any day of the week (for popular gaming systems like Pathfinder). The GM could leave his/her cam pointed at the whiteboard-or-penciled map, or grid with figurines.
If anybody is interested enough to actually follow through, please reply here. If you open a new thread on the topic, please post an entry here so I will know about it. Thanks.
