Obviously, with four Coordinators, we need a way to make sure they can move along at the same pace as Trainers, in a way that ensures them to be able to compete and do what they have to do. With four, we have enough for a very healthy competition -- it's just a matter of how they can compete!BASICS
Enter Coordination Contests.
I guess I'm in charge of these and I have an idea for a system that would work, but I'd like any input you guys could offer! What you think would work, what you think wouldn't work -- whatever!
Props are encouraged and in fact make for the best DISPLAYS!
Coordination relies on NON-LITERAL interpretations on moves. If it says "Pluck" -- then run with it! It's about CREATIVITY and ENTERTAINMENT (because, remember, coordination contests are aired all over, and are likely something of an idol pageant, to be honest!). Being literal will likely get you nowhere in the entertainment industry!
Furthermore, Coordinators work by shaping their pokemon's APPEARANCE TO SUIT THE THEME. SHOWING them off, if you would! Appearances can be changed from anything to special grooming, to putting them in clothes, to even dressing them up as mythological figures! Whatever works!
Every contest would be set to a specific THEME and it would be up to the Coordinator to fully expand upon this with their Pokemon!
Why do Coordinators work with two things in mind? Because there are two separate AREAS OF COORDINATION CONTESTS -- DISPLAY and SHOWING.
DISPLAY is showcasing a Pokemon's moves, usually put to a story, music, or just to look whatever the theme is! SHOWING is shaping a Pokemon's appearance to suit the theme in an ORIGINAL and CREATIVE way. They are DISTINCT and graded on a separate scale.
Every contest has TWO JUDGES -- to prevent bias! These NPCS will likely be CARAPACES. They would first judge the SHOWING round, and then MOVE ON to the DISPLAY PORTION.
Each round is graded on a scale of TWENTY -- two RAW SCORES from each judge. Meaning: The maximum score (or flawless victory) is a 4O/4O.
EVERY coordinator who competes would receive a RIBBON. There are First, Second, Third, and Runner Up Ribbons. EVERYONE WINS, but then again, ONLY ONE CAN BE FIRST.
Most likely, they function like badges -- but they're really FOR THE GLORY. The number of ribbons gives the experience, but the ranking of thus tells competence, after all!
Contests would be held AT THE ADMIN'S/JUDGES LEISURE, and should be announced UP TO THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE, if possible. To keep things running smoothly, you'll have THREE DAYS to post a specific portion -- these replies should be LONG AND DETAILED, and there's really no use rushing them!
They would likely just take place in tents or something I honestly have no clue.

Only we won't be doing such long-ass judge posts omg those were HORRIBLE.
If you have any suggestions, problems, or concerns, please let them be known!
Happy competing![/ul]
