I brought up some of these things in the chatbox recently and spoke with Aradia and Jade about them there.
Was encouraged to ask everyone else what they thought too, so here goes!
As to this point in time, the Felt is not actually included in the plot. The Midnight Crew, is, however - they are Team Rocket.
I love Sn8wman with a burning, intense passion and wanted a chance to play her so I came up (with the help of Aradia and Jade) with a way to get them into the plot easily.
What if the Felt was Team Galactic (the one that deals with timey-wimey space bullshit and wants to create a new world) and Midnight Crew stayed as Team Rocket? Team Rocket's "territory" would be Kanto, and Felt's would be Sinnoh, but the Felt's boss (like Giovanni, except it's Lord English) Decided he wanted more territory/wanted Mew/Mewtwo, so now Team Galactic (Felt) and Team Rocket (MC) are fighting all over Kanto.
This will provide the adventure with some backbone and plot-things, if people (like me) are willing to come up with encounters, and to take on other characters. (possibly more then one, depending, as there's a lot of felt)
Different teams could run into groups of the Felt or some of the MC characters and have to fight them, or when more then one team is together, they can run into a fight between Felt & MC and have to help sort it out, or just fight both of them.
It'll give us a chance to make this into an actual story, rather than just a pokemon adventure, just like in the games, though it'll be a little different.
What do you guys think about this?
