Uh, so in hindsight this had probably been a bad idea. [AT] opened memo
Well, it had sounded promising and not like something that would land him with his face here, in the mud, when he'd first decided on it, advice taken right out of Pokefans Magazine's' acclaimed guide: always be ahead of your cohort from the start, go on first while the others are still fussing over groupings and gear and details and actually get into the wild, get catching! What are you waiting for kid, get out there, Pokemon were everything in this field and you need to catch them since there were only a limited number of them in the wild.
But instead there were an infinite number of ledges out here, apparently.
Not just hills. There were those too but he'd known that and even made sure to tighten the gears on the wheelchair, he knew how to handle the wheels on hills and all, but these were a lot steeper than he'd expected and uh, you couldn't tell that from a distance and of course he'd already gone and tripped one.
"Tchuki...pri!"
Tavros's face popped up, mud-caked nose and all, unable to help but smile when he saw his first Pokemon tottering right ahead of him, eyes wide with the most ultimate mirth despite his predicament.
The sheer cheer of it even made him wiggle his hips against the grass again, try to force some movement into his legs and move them a bit. Even if that was impossible. And stupid.
He supposed this whole thing was sorta stupid like that.
"Uh, yeah I'm sorry Tinkerpi, I, uh didn't expect to stumble into this problem this early, I'm usually more competent than this, I think, I probably should have better conducted my research though-"
"Priiiii!"
A dull, cringe-inducing clang rocked the clearing, sending Tinkerpi squealing and scrambling off, tiny little peg-feet carrying him into the shadow of the forest where Tavros couldn't see the little guy anymore, not from his present altitude and position.
Oh well, at least he knew where his chair was now, he supposed. Finally stopped rolling. By crashing into a tree.
Some fifty feet away. And ten feet below, if he took the slope of this place into account.
If this had been a little later down the track and Tinkerpi had evolved or something, he was sure he'd be able to get the little guy to fly the chair back up to him, but of course he'd landed here on the first day of the biggest career move of his life.
With only one option ahead of him.
It was with a returning sinking feeling in his stomach (something like his guts falling down another ledge, actually...), that he rummaged into the pocket of his now-dirtied trousers and pulled out that PDA and got typing up a memo with grazed fingers.
AT: uHHH, hEY GUYS IS ANYBODY GETTING THIS,

He grumbled into the ground. He'd been just so excited about this whole thing too. [/blockquote]
