i saw aradia was setting up a blog to write about her journey, and i thought "what a cool idea!" so uh, here's my blog. it's not exactly the most original name for a blog, i know.
it's my birthday tomorrow, and i just got done chatting with aradia, jade and karkat. they all already have their pokémon, i'm so jealous. still, pretty sure mine will be better than anything they've got. especially karkat's mystery pokémon! karkat was being karkat as usual, all grumpy and everything, but i think i'm gonna miss living near him in a way. after all, we are best buddies.
speaking of best buddies, i can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow! it will be so sweet meeting jade and rose and dave in person for the first time, as well as all the others. maybe i can go adventuring with some of them, too?

okay, i'm kind of busy right now and i probably won't have time to write much, but there have been some PRETTY IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS HERE. mainly the fact that oh my god, eridan dresses like a douchebag. hipster scarf, hipster glasses, etc. he totally teased me for having shitty eyesight once so i'm fairly certain he doesn't even NEED glasses. (i think i saw a cape poking out of his bag too! when and why would he even wear that?)

so, i'm pretty much ready to head out! i've been chatting to some of the trolls (so weird meeting them in person after all those internet chats) and they're really nice. mostly. okay, some of them are kind of jerks (LOOKING AT YOU, VRISKA) but no, they're all right really. feferi and nepeta have been pretty friendly and even eridan's been pretty okay (stupid clothes aside). vriska's gonna be travelling with me for a bit, in fact. hopefully i'll get to see her lose her first pokémon battle, haha.

woah, speaking of lame trolls, i still don't know what karkat's famous mystery starter pokémon is yet! i will find out soon though, and it will hopefully be hilarious. on that note, karkat completely overslept this morning and was really really late and has just generally started this whole thing PRETTY POORLY. so yeah, i wouldn't be looking to him as an example of (and i quote) "HOW TO PROPERLY TRUDGE THROUGH THE CHAOS AND EXCITEMENT OF OUR FIRST POKEMON JOURNEY". he's more of a what not to do, honestly.

okay, i totally had a thing or two more to say but i should probably stop wasting time typing this and get back to business. adventure awaits!
