• Brief description of personality:Scout isn't particularly for justice as the world sees it. The definition explicitly states that justice has only to do with the law of the area and the enforcement of it.
Scout, however, feels that not all laws are particularly just. As a defense attorney on the side (who takes the cases of lowbloods, highbloods, seadwellers, and humans indiscriminately), she personally believes that the court is corrupt and that it is her job to root out the truth.
As a person, however, you won't meet someone more stubborn.
We're not talking stubborn like "Oh, little Timmy is so stubborn! He never stops screaming until he gets his rice krispie treats! Awww!"
No. This is the sort of stubborn that could get someone killed -- absolutely never backing down. She could have a crime lord in her face with a gun to her temple, and she would still insist on talking shit about him if that's what she'd been doing before.
She's an amazing actress overall, however, and can generally get what she wants by being completely fake. In her community theater, she always got cast as Trolliet and Otrelia and even Treveya once! No one could believe that she was actually a girl.
Of course, this brings with it a staggering amount of empathy. She often can't contain herself in situations, and is very prone to crying.
In fact, almost anything can move her to tears. If she loses, or is frustrated, or is scared, or just overcome by any emotion, the tears start coming down.
She tends to go through paranoid spurts and is an optimist in the long run of things, but a pessimist in the short run.
Scout tries to foresee awful situations to the best of her ability by being prepared. However, she herself is not the best seer, and tends to become overconfident. Oftentimes, she sees every option but the most likely, and then waltzes right into terrible situations with a bravado that she feels is justified.
She has high aspirations for herself and the world, and nothing discourages her more than wasted potential -- hers or anyone else's.
While her morals are high, and while she is intelligent, she often is awful when it comes to common sense. Simple tasks baffle her, and the situations she gets stuck in are often completely self-inflicted.
She's not the most graceful troll on the block.
Scout tends to fall for bait almost all of the time -- while she can get people to see her how she wants, she's wretched at reading other people and their intentions. She truly wishes for everyone she knows to have good intentions at heart, so she often disregards that people can just be mean sometimes.
Overall, she tries hard to achieve her goals and is gifted in all that she puts time into. She doesn't accept failure, and quite frankly she doesn't feel that she can fail.
