Description of personality:
If there was one word that could describe Dirk, it would be "cool". But choosing just one word to describe him was something that shouldn't be done in the first place. To anyone who didn't know him, he might have appeared a bit distant and stoic. However, those who did know him knew that he was extremely loyal and protective, even if he didn't always show it. He doesn't mind helping out with his friend's problems if they're willing to ask for it, and would never turn them away. He's willing to throw down some beats and battles if anyone ever challenges him, but when it comes down to it he won't go easy on anyone, even his friends. He enjoys friendly competition, and when watching friends battle he will almost always give out pointers, even if they're not wanted. He also has a love of Pokemon, and though he seeks out strong and tough Pokemon, he doesn't have a problem with (and actually fully enjoys) training the weak. Weaker Pokemon generally have a greater potential to get stronger then the naturally strong, after all. He will accept any challenge thrown at him, and is willing to split his journey two ways in order to carry out both.
