Just occurred to me, we should probably try to establish what sort of relationships character have at the beginning of the roleplay. It's probably a good idea to work how stuff like whether Vriska crippled Tavros, how Terezi went blind, etc? Though there's a sheet in the PC for this stuff, it's always useful to be able to discuss things!
John's Relationships
John and Karkat have a kind of dysfunctional friendship, they are neighbours in Pallet Town and John sees them as best of buds whereas Karkat finds him really REALLY annoying. He also had some unrequited blackrom feelings for him in the past which John totally shot down.
John and Jade are really good friends, but unrelated in this rp. They've never met in person but they like to joke about how similar they are, etc.
John and Dave are total bros too, they're close even though they only know each other from the internet, what with Dave living several regions away.
I'm assuming John's pretty close with Rose too, though you guys will have to confirm this. Up to you whether this is going to be their first meeting or not.
Vriska and John are buddies. They tease each other a lot but are pretty fond of each other. John thinks she's cool and imitates her sometimes.
John's on good terms with Aradia too, though he doesn't know her very well. He digs her whole ghost thing.
Dave's Relationships
John and Dave have known each other from the internet.
Dave might not have talked to Jade, but knows about her through John, but that's up to Jade to confirm.
Dave and Rose are siblings, or at the least cousins, but that's up to Rose!
Dave knows SOME of the trolls, like he knows Karkat and harasses him, he knows Tavros and they're kind of friends, him and Terezi go back and forth with stupid pictures and lame jokes, he knows Vriska but doesnt talk to her, knows who Sollux is but doesnt talk to him, and has a rare talk with Aradia.
Rose's Relationships
-Roxy and Rose are cousins that see each other around Christmastime and such.
-Rose knows Jade through John, but they don't talk much
-Rose gets along well with John.
-Rose enjoys learning about troll culture through Kanaya, and Kanaya enjoys learning about human culture through Rose.
-Rose appreciates Dave's sense of irony
-Rose has just met Eridan, but she did not have a good first impression. She may be able to tolerate him eventually with some convincing.
-Rose has not talked to any of the alpha kids besides Roxy nor any of the trolls besides Kanaya much.
Karkat's Relationships
Karkat:
Basically what John said. BUT DOUBLE THE HATRED.
He hates Dave with this burning passion, and considers him the most obnoxious asshole ever. They're kind of alike, and yet everyone fawns over the guy. Ridiculous.
He's good bros with Sollux, but they fight all the time, and Karkat constantly gives him the silent treatment after chewing him out and everyone is like KARKAT SO IMMATURE. But sooner or later, he breaks and apologizes, and the cycle starts over again.
He's also good bros with Gamzee, and Gamzee can calm him down even from afar more than anyone else can (not necessarily all the time, though, of course.)
He's kind of friends with Jade, but they insult each other. Still, I think they make a good team? They talk a lot, if only to argue.
As for Aradia, once she pulled a prank on him that made him think everyone was dead or something (it's vague) and he freaked out, then was really angry when he found out it was a prank. He refused to talk to her for a week-- Sollux probably got involved too-- and still calls her spooky.
As for Terezi, they bicker a lot but he actually doesn't hate her as much as others, and actually thinks she's pretty cool. Despite that, she's also obnoxious, so SO MUCH BICKERING.
Vriska is despicable to him, and he jumps at the chance to shoot her down verbally.
He really likes Kanaya and doesn't mind talking to her. He will sometimes give in to the fact that she's usually right and actually listen to her when she gives motherly advice.
Aradia's Relations
Aradia and Tavros are pretty close, considering they make up Team Charge!!! They would roleplay against Terezi and Vriska sometimes and always complain about Vriska's blatantly overpowered character all the time. But they had fun, and Aradia would never let anyone talk shit about them or Tavros in general.
Aradia and Sollux have a pretty cloudy relationship, considering how they are. She regards him as an incredibly close friend, and perhaps something more... but she wouldn't let anyone else know that. Still, if she could have one single moment alone with Sollux, she would take advantage of that moment for more flushed feelings. She definitely loves him.
Aradia and any of the human kids have a pretty undefined relationship, but she really likes talking to Rose. There's just something about her that she really enjoys, and she wouldn't mind chatting with her more, given the chance. Also, she has a bit of a likeliness toward Dave, considering Tavros's somewhat idolization of him but she doesn't really know much about the cool kid.
Aradia and Terezi are on pretty stable grounds; they are friend, but beyond that they are also rivals. The same goes with Vriska, however Aradia also holds a stable grudge against her. She hopes to reach the Elite Four and beat them before her rival does.
Aradia and Karkat have always been sort of maybe kind of friends. She can make him angry in the most meticulously spooky of ways and he can piss her off with his constant banter. It kind of goes back and forth but for the record, Aradia usually quits the argument before it gets out of hand, unlike Karkat's arguing with, say, Sollux.

In my mind Tavros and Vriska have met offline before, given that their hometowns are near each other. She wasn't directly involved with how Tavros got crippled, but she had something to do with it. Maybe like a dare gone wrong or something. But anyway, he is a bit wary of her.
Gamzee and Tavros are bros for life, though he does find him rather silly.
Tavros and Aradia are pretty close friends as well.
Tavros has a crush on Jade, and don't know if he confessed (and got rejected) like in the comic yet. Either way, they have good relations.
Tavros considers Dave a rapping rival, and genrally thinks he's a pretty cool guy.
He's also friends with Nepeta, Kanaya, and Terezi.
Gamzee's Relationships
He's pretty chill with all the trolls, honestly.
TAVROS: Gamzee and Tav and super bros.
VRISKA: He's scared of Vriska, though if he has to, he'll put up with her.
KARKAT: Him and Karkat are the bestest of bros, of course. He'll always be there for him and he'll always be trying to chill Karkat the fuck out.
ARADIA: They've met, being from the same hometown and all. I like to think of them as having an aquantainceship of some sort. He think's she's pretty, but this is strictly platonic.
SOLLUX: I doubt that they've met, they might not have even talked, but you can bet Gamzee has heard of Sollux from Karkat. He's convinced that Sollux is made of miracles, due to his psionics, and is very eager to meet him.
NEPETA: Gamzee is fond of Nepeta in a friendly sort of way, and will humour her roleplaying every time (even though he isn't very good at it). If they've met in person, he probably likes to give her friendly piggy-back rides due to their height difference.
TEREZI: He enjoys talking to her. He's got about a billion different nicknames for her. When sober, she would likely be the second person he'd contact.
EQUIUS: He talks to him every day(or tries to), and likes to think of them as good bros. Equius may not feel the same, though.
He doesn't really know any of the humans, but he knows of them. He has this weird hatred towards Dave, though.
