Name: Roxy Lalonde
Starter Pokémon: A Skitty named Hermione
Hometown: Fuchsia City
Appearance: Roxy is a white girl with (naturally! duh) platinum blonde hair, which she wears in a style that flicks out. Bodywise, she's pretty average! Around 5'6, not particularly skinny, not particularly curvaceous. She typically long scarves, short skirts and leggings. Usually a lot of pink. Man, she loves pink! Mostly because they bring out her super cool pink eyes.
Biography: Roxy grew up in Fuchsia City, which was really pretty remote from anything fun, with her mother. Her mother wasn’t actually around much, being something of a bigshot travelling trainer. Roxy hopes she can be as cool as her mom someday. It was kind of lonely in Fuchsia City, but Roxy had her internet friends and the occasional visit from her cousin Rose, so it wasn’t all bad. She’s pretty excited to finally be getting out on her own, though.
Personality: On the surface, Roxy seems like a fairly typical, flirty, dim-witted trainer, who could never possibly take training Pokémon seriously.
She's anything but dim-witted, though. Roxy has an incredibly sharp, logical mind and is a pretty damn skilled hacker. (Though how much of her "mad haxxor skillz" are genuine is up for debate- she's a little prone to exaggeration.) She's excellent at Pokémon stuff too, having a detailed knowledge of what moves they learn when, and good strategies to fit each Pokémon. To put it simply, she's actually kind of a huge nerd. Old-school video games, 1337 programmin', wizard stories and the occasional fanfiction are all hobbies of hers.
In her interactions with others, Roxy is pretty casual and easy-going. She's not one for causing drama, and tends to be more playful and friendly most of the time. And maaaaybe a little flirty from time to time. She'd seriously like a boyfriend, but she’s not expecting that to happen any time soon.
Roxy is incredibly kind hearted and is willing to go out of her way to help others, often putting their needs before her own. This doesn't stop her from being a little bitter about it from time to time, though. Sometimes she wishes people would pay a little more attention to HER problems.
Speaking of problems, Roxy suffers from something of a drinking problem. Her dad leaves a whole bunch in the house so she figures hey, why not. Drinking is FUN. It makes you feel good, relax, and forget all your worries. What's not to like?? Not to mention the whole rebel teen drunk image is totally sweet. She says she could quit if she wanted but, well. Whether that's true has yet to be seen, since she's never actually attempted it.
Goal: Roxy would love to be the very best like no one ever was. Preferably in both training AND co-ordinating. She just loves a challenge. Whether she’ll actually be up to it is another matter, though.
